Twelve whammies for the day
September 6, 2006 by blogs-from-jupiter
Rating my day from a rate of one star to five stars, with five stars being the highest, September 6 was a two star. Today was a downer. Almost everything was not right.
First, I brought my brother to the dormitory thinking he was ok. When he woke up for school, he wasn’t feeling well. I should have not brought him to the dormitory in the first place.
Second, my sister was nowhere to be found. She didn’t go home to our dormitory. Though I’m not sure if she went home to Cubao.
Third, I forgot my cellphone. Halfway through my driving to the office, I returned to the dormitory to get my phone.
Fourth, I was cramming editing a script for our event on Friday night.
Fifth, I forgot to email embargoed news releases to my boss for her approval, and for our big boss’s clearance.
Sixth, because I have a meeting a few hours ago, I cancelled my ballroom dancing booking. I was thinking of pushing for it later but I forgot to contact my dance instructress.
Seventh, a close friend shared to me his depressing, miserable and sad life… hu hu hu
Eight, another close friend complained to me that she hasn’t been given a salary increase for the past four years… hu hu hu
Ninth, I violated traffic rules again. This was the second time in a span of two weeks.
Tenth, another close friend unburdened her heavy heart after learning that her friend was murdered… hu hu hu… waaaahhhhh!!!!
Eleventh and finally (thank its not 12!), my brother accidentally threw our dormitory keys to a passing car. I forgot my door keys in the car so I called my brother to throw his keys from our window (our room was at the third floor). But when he threw the keys, it fell on the hood of a passing car. I almost got into an altercation.
Twelfth, I forgot to pray last night (gosh! And I thought it was only 11!).
